Before the chickens begin to chatter and before the first cup of coffee is poured, four curious faces are already waiting to see what the morning will bring.
Our emus have become part of the daily rhythm of Hatchfieldsâwatching us work, following us through the pasture, and appearing at the fence whenever something interesting is happening.
Raised With Care
Room to wander. Time to simply be emus.
Their days are spent beneath Florida skies with space to walk, forage, investigate, and rest in the shade of the trees.
Fresh water, careful observation, enrichment, and daily interaction are part of life here. We learn their habits, recognize their moods, and respect the individual personality of every bird.

One Remarkable Season
Seasonal Emu Eggs
During a brief laying season, our hens produce naturally deep emerald-green eggsâeach one textured, distinctive, and unlike anything else found on the farm.
Their season cannot be hurried or extended. Availability is naturally limited, and when laying ends, we wait until nature begins again.
Nature decides the schedule. We care for the birds.
